MARCH 2005 - MISSION ACTIVITY

SCHOOL NURSE WELCOMED:
Kauma Adventist High School welcomed new school nurse Mari Anne Moore to the islands during February. Mari Anne (far left in the photo) will serve through the end of the school year in December.

Accompanying Mari Anne to the islands were the Swena family (left to right: Ladonna, Dr. Stewart, Mitch, and Zach) and Gary Morgan. On hand to meet the group on Abemama was Trent Bliven (far right in photo) SFO's pilot and certified mechanic. Dr. Swena and his family traveled to the islands to assist Mari Anne by organizing and setting up the clinic. Gary Morgan brought airplane parts and supplies from the mainland and assisted Trent in prepping the airplane on Tarawa.

Trent Bliven has been SFO's pilot on the islands since last summer and will be returning to the USA in June. Trent is a thoroughly professional pilot and mechanic and is a wonderful ambassador for Christ.  Check Photos and Plane/Boat for more photos of Trent and the airplane.
